The Floodlight application supports only cloud based JIRA instances and is simply installed via UPM. Licenses can be obtained from the Atlassian Marketplace.
You need to be a JIRA Administrator in order to install Floodlight.. Please ensure you have the latest version of the Universal Plugin Manager installed.
The installation options for Floodlight are as follows:
Install Floodlight from the Atlassian marketplace
Free Trial
Upload the installation file in JIRA
You can buy new licenses, renew existing ones or upgrade from one tier to another.
Floodlight license needs to match the JIRA licensePlease note, if you are using a commercial (i.e. not a trial) license for Floodlight, it must match (or be greater than) your JIRA license.
For example, if you have a JIRA 25 User Commercial license you must have a Floodlight 25 User Commercial license.
Floodlight trial licenses do not need to match JIRA licenses.
Adding a license key purchased on the Atlassian Marketplace:
If you have an older version of the Universal Plugin Manager select the "Plugins" menu, select the "Manage My Plugins" tab and click on Floodlight. This will take you to the License key section where you can insert the new license key.
